This game was great!

I really enjoyed playing Malapa's Challenge. I must admit, at first, I thought this was going to be one of those crappy RPG Flash games, but I was quite surprised to find my self playing this game for about an hour and a half. Unfortunately, one of the reasons why it took that long was because of the animation. The artwork is really good, but the animations took way too long. It was also a really tedious task to finally start moving Malapa around. I got stuck at the very first part right after you defeat Minotaur. I couldn't figure out what to do next. Also, the enemies' status/life meters were NOT visible half the time. Filter out these bugs, and you'd have a great RPG. Perhaps you could provide detailed instructions for this game in the future. As for the character design, Malapa kind of resembles this BDSM type of Anti-Hero. He also reminds me of that old singer group from the early 90's called Right Said Fred. I guess it was his bald head? lol Anyway, keep up the good work.

I got a laugh from this one......

It's all fun.........and you have EXCELLENT taste in music if you chose PWEI. :-)

That was definitely relaxing!

Since I can't do this kind of shit in real life, it's great to know I can do it in the Flash world. lol

Punch Out! for Flash!

It's about damn time someone did a good conversion of a "Punch Out!" type game for Flash. The graphics were nicely drawn, and a lot of the animations reminded me of the old Punch Out! game for the NES. I especially liked the sound. The music and sound effects were crisp and clear, and best of all they were not irritating at all! The soundtrack fit this game nicely. The other thing was the control. I really liked how accurate the control scheme was. The boxer should be as fast as the player's hand. I'm glad you didn't decide to use the arrow keys. That would have been a shame if you did. I actually wouldn't consider this a "2D" game. True, the images we see on our monitors are 2 Dimensional, but this had a 3D kind of feel to it. Just like the classic Punch Out! game. Good game, good graphics, good sound, now all you have to do is work on other punching combos. Excellent work! :->

I enjoyed this short little detective mystery.

It's too bad it was so short though! Still, it kept me occupied for a few minutes. I really liked the idea of using your "magnifying glass" by right clicking and zooming in. That was a really nice touch. As a matter of fact, this is one of the first Flash games I've played where you have to zoom in to proceed with the game. Excellent interactivity. Great overall job. Perhaps you'll be doing a "Murder Mystery 3"? I'd like to see that.

Not a bad first effort.

I like your art style. Especially your "Hero" character Chris. But, the enemy he was attacking, wasn't that one of the bosses from the Super Nintendo game "Ninja Warriors" ? I could have sworn I've seen that character outline before. Pardon my nitpicking regarding the graphics, I guess I just have a memory for cool art.

I never thought you could top Combat Instinct.

Well I was proven wrong. I thought Combat Instinct was to be my favorite Flash game for a long time. Now it's been replaced with something better; Combat Instinct 2!!!

What can I say about this game? Pure fun! Man I had a blast playing this game. From watching the cool storyline, to the actual gameplay, everything was put together well here. The music and sound effects were of course taken from Half-Life and Unreal, but who cares? It's the game that counts. The graphics were very nicely done just like the previous Combat Instinct. I especially liked the new Sniper Scope which was done very well. Although you MUST make sure that the cursor/arrow is in the CENTER of the Flash screen BEFORE you begin the Sniper Scope section of the game, I had fun using the sniper rifle. A totally good use of Flash capabilities.

This game is just too cool. I believe that this game is going to set the standards for Flash gaming.

Well done McFretN!!

Not a bad lil fighting game.

This idea for using animals was attempted by GameTek back in 1993 when they released a decent selling game called "Brutal-Paws Of Fury" for the SNES, Genesis, and Sega CD. Later down the line, they released a sequel called "Brutal-Above The Claw" which had lackluster sales figures because the game was released only on Sega's Ill-Fated Genesis add-on the 32X. Since not too many people owned the Sega 32X, the sequel never had a chance to appeal to anyone. As for this Flash Game, it's very reminiscent of Brutal. I liked the animation for the characters, but they were a little bit on the small side. However, the control was pretty good, and making contact with your oppnent seemed alright. I liked the 2 kick combo that the characters had. It's too bad there was no music for this game, but still, it's a neat little fighting game for 2 players done in Flash.

I'm not evil.... It's just that some of my actions would make me appear that way. You could say that I'm..... Neutral. Think of me as someone who has 'Dark' intentions that would ultimately benefit the greater good. "Vae Victus"
