[A Tribute to Gundam F-91]

Very good effort. However....

..... why would you want to re-make something that's already been perfected from it's OVA form? I'm a big fan of the entire Gundam Universe, especially the pre Gundam Wing Era, but I feel that your time would be better spent working on an ORIGINAL Gundam Storyline/Flash as opposed to re-making something that's already flawless. You have some talent. I just dislike seeing talented animators produce un-original material. Overall, this Flash was nicely animated and it gave me the reminiscent feeling of watching the old F91 OAV, just to a much smaller scale. Now if you can only make some original animation with Gundam, that would be something to behold.

I believe you have NOT read it properly. It is a Tribute. All tributes are not-original because they are NOT supposed to be.

I honour "Gundam F-91", that is my reason for making this Flash Movie.

Judge by what it is as a stand-alone, not by comparing it to the work of a hundred experts (Theft is an exception when rating something, of course).

[Metal Gear Music Video]

You put effort into it all while making it suck.

This video was pointless and without direction, but for some reason, it gave me a good laugh. The artwork was pretty bad, but on the upside, the animation was pretty decent and somewhat smooth. I also laughed at the intentional mis-spelling of "likwid snake" while showing a blue colored blob (which was probably supposed to resmble 'water'. lol). What really gave me the laughs were the constant usage of well timed sound effects coupled with the badly drawn visuals. Then came the part about the leg humping. Damn, this reminds me of that other pointless but funny Flash video on "Chu Chu Rocket". Did you make the artwork suck intentionally? If you did, you certainly got it down. Definitely not the best MGS video, but not the worst either.

Hey, thanks. You know, theres 2 things to this movie.
1) The drawings are suposed to look like ass (notice that all the characters looks change as the movie progresses)
and 2) It was entirely rushed as people might see.

I am actually kinda suprised by the ratings I got. I put it up before bed last night and I was like "This movie wont be there in the morning." well what do you konw?

Man, I remember that commercial.

I remember seeing that on TV waaaaaay back in 1988. But that song.... I NEVER forgot that song, especially those lyrics "higher and higher, fighting your way through the enemy fire!!!!". This was almost every kid's 'video game anthem' back when the NES was a hot system. Thanks for reminding me of my childhood man. The nostalgic look back into video game history is appreciated. Sorry, but you don't get high marks because all this seems to be is a simple movie file.

With a little work, this will definitely do well.

I like the idea of original storylines. I can see that you put a lot into the storyline as well as the overall production of this Flash film involving the legendary video games series "Metal Gear". Since it's a touchy subject for most hardcore gamers, they're really not going to be open to the fact that Solid Snake looks like an SD (Super Deformed) character in this film. However, with an interesting storyline to go along with, hopefully most MG Fans will look past the artwork issue and focus on the storyline. I can't wait to see what you've got in store next. (BTW, Is there a way to contact you? Perhaps you and I can collaborate on "MGS 1.5"? I could probably lend you a hand with the artwork and voice acting. Drop me an email or respond to this review. [Nasty Residents (R.E.)]

Now this was funny.

As a big Resident Evil / Bio Hazard Fan, I was impressed by the humor that was in this film. Sure, it was corny, but parodies are always supposed to be corny. I think that the funniest part was the introduction of the "Cast". Clever writing. Unfortunately, only the die-hard RE Fans will be able to understand most of character parodies such as Albert Breastcare's way of 'talking', and how the character's names have been changed (Jill Christmas.... Chris Greenlawn....clever!). I'll just say this to all the prospective people who might view this movie: "If you don't know what Resident Evil is about, you should play the game series first to fully understand what this parody makes fun of, simply because you won't understand the humor. However, if you ARE a fan of the Resident Evil series, this film will make you laugh because of all of the 'shortcomings' that this film pokes fun at from the first RE game." EXCELLENT HUMOR! I can't wait to see the next episode. ^_^

[Vampire Hunter INA]

Very nicely drawn movie.

The story seems to be an amalgamation of some of the dark storylines/series such as "Vampire Hunter D", "Blade", "Escape From L.A.", "Zeiram 1&2", "Buffy The Vampire Slayer"....hell, I could go on. Not an entirely original plot, but nonetheless, this is a good Flash animation. Very well drawn in an Anime/Manga style that suits the mood and storyline. I can't wait to see more of this series. EXCELLENT WORK!!!

Thanks we didn't intent on copying any of the above but those are all great story lines which we don't feel we can be in the company of. Still we tried to use ideas but i guess we where influenced by all the above and more hopefully enough to make our own little nitch in the vampire worlds.

Weird and strange, yet artsy.

Sorry, but this kind of stuff is NOT my cup of tea. I'll just rate you accordingly for your effort. Sound: Irritating song; Why? So someone is taking the poor guy away. Big deal. It's just as bad as hearing some multi-million record selling boy band croon about how they broke up with their girlfriends and how they can't find love. I don't care about that! Graphics: Strange, and weird. That says it all. If I understood what this was supposed to be about, I'd rate it higher. Style: I've seen weird submissions in the NG Portal before, and this ranks right up there with them. Unfortunately, I'm not really into this kind of stuff, but you still get points for your effort. Decent job. I guess I'm the only one to rate you like this so far. I honestly don't understand how something like this could achieve such a high score. Oh well. Just know that you can't please everyone.
